Sign of the Times

We invite you to join us as we celebrate our eighth year of welcoming visitors to this amazing area. The Hudson Valley was named by National Geographic as one of the top 20 places in the world to visit and our ideal central location makes us a perfect choice. Stay with us from Aug 3rd to Aug 27th and enjoy the charm, comfort and first class service and amenities we're known for but at a reduced rate without breakfast while we give the chef a few well deserved weeks off and test a new "Guest House" business model.

Here's to good times at Changing Times

Always,
Loretta and Jim Innkeepers

Come and celebrate the Times of your life!

Experience an authentic country stay and the warm welcoming feel of a simpler time in America. Built in the 1800's as a General Store and Post Office with living quarters for the merchant and his family. Today Changing Times Bed and Breakfast offers guests charming accommodations with modern conveniences at an ideal location in the heart of NY's magnificent Hudson River Valley. We have four beautiful lodging options to choose from with service and amenities you might expect at a first class hotel. We invite you to be our guest and make memories you will cherish into the future.

The B&B is conveniently located off the Taconic State Parkway and only nine miles from Downtown Hudson! There is great hiking and biking near by and just driving on our country roads with long views of farms and mountains is an experience that will relax and renew your senses. We're next to Lake Taghkanic State Park offering a beautiful beach, pristine swimming and non-motor boat activities in the summer. Near Olana the home of Fredrick Church with inspiring views of the Hudson River and Catskill Mountains made famous in his paintings and close to the Rip Van Winkle Bridge and the quaint town of Catskill. Head twenty minutes north to Lindenwald and take a step back to the 1700's when you tour the birth place, working farm and home of our 8th President Martin Van Buren. And within thirty minutes of Rhinebeck, Bard College and the Omega Institute to our south or the Berkshires to our east.

“Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude”. ~ Denis Waitley
